For years I searched for products and people who could help me lose weight, and after disappointments, uneducated and unreliable trainers, I began to give up. After a recommendation, I took a shot on Tony. He was very particular with me and my body. He analyzed my muscle imbalances and used that information as a starting point. I have been working with him for nearly 2 years now and he continues to take time to analyze and correct any imbalances, developing workouts that’ll get me to my goals. The founder Tony is also a fantastic and no nonsense trainer. He’s asks the right questions not just about your goals but injuries and can pinpoint issues with movement/posture etc. I worked out with him a few years ago with had great results. I have been working out for a long time and felt like I had plateaued in the gym. In addition, I started feeling numbness and tingling down my arms. After seeing a physical therapist, I decided I needed to refocus my energy on being fit and functional. I knew about Muscle and Bone NYC from another acquaintance so I gave them a call. It was great meeting with Tony. He reviewed my goals with me and after our first session, he told me that many of muscles were overused, weak and my knees were hurting. We developed some goals and one year later:

I used to shake when lifting weight but now my shoulders, hips and knees are strong

I am lifting heavier weight overall

Due to increased stability in my shoulders, my bench press has increased significantly

I saw a doctor after my foot began giving me pain. The doctor diagnosed me with plantar fasciitis and prescribed physical therapy. After a series of PT visits, my condition wasn't improving. One day Tony saw me limping and asked why so I told him. He then asked for my symptoms, specifically. After I told him he told me that he thought he could help relieve my discomfort. After one session of strengthening and stretching and performing his recommended homework, my foot was completely pain free after about three weeks. When I started training with Tony, it was to learn how to box. He taught me proper defense, head movement and punch technique. He also built my primary and secondary muscles to build my strength and endurance. He also focused on straightening the hump in my upper back and my rounded shoulders that was made worse by my desk job. I’ve gone from not being able to perform even a single push-up to 15-20 reps in a single set. Since our training has begun, Tony has helped me get rid of many joint pain, including shin splints, plantar fasciitis low back and neck pain. Our latest mission is I’ve also dropped 15 pounds in the past 2 months!

I started working with Tony two years ago when I was recovering from being malnourished and adrenal failure. My goals were to gain weight, add muscle and get rid of those nagging aches and pains I experienced when I ran. Tony was able to identify immediately where I had significant muscle weakness leading to the pain. We started my training program slowly by focusing on correcting those muscle imbalances and eating food that would fuel my day and workouts. Two years later, I have gained 20 pounds and no longer have nagging pain when I run. I have learned how to eat for my body so it has the nourishment and fuel it needs to function properly.
